Carlos Villarreal is a performance coach and business mentor.
He has been coaching people for over 39 years, leading and coaching thousands of people utilizing the skills he acquired in personal development and business.
He developed his passion for personal development at the age of 21 years old when he found himself managing his third retail store, looking for ways to help his team perform at the highest level. Carlos started investing in programs and would use these strategies to help his team members grow, both personally and professionally.
At 24 years old, he was promoted to a district manager overseeing 30 plus stores. He used the personal development strategies he learned to guide and help people develop their own skills. He adopted a strong discipline contributing to producing high results and worked with his teams to perform consistently through focus and a winning mindset.
He has led many teams in his roles of sales manager and director over several years while working with both corporate retail stores and independent owners.
Carlos has guided and coached hundreds of business owners and their teams to focus and use the foundational strategies to have consistent business growth.
Breakthrough ...
He initially started learning about personal development to grow in business and help others do the same.
While Carlos was able to apply many of the learnings to his profession, the majority of what he learned was having the right mindset to move forward and grow which was put to the test years later.
In 2014, he was diagnosed with a serious liver condition. This was shocking news and really made him think about his life. He asked himself, will I still be alive in 6 months? A year?
He still had a job to do, being the director of sales with a team, traveling to help owners with their business.
Feeling depressed and uncertain of his future, he started asking many questions. Finally, he asked the right question, what does this mean? Searching for the answer, he recalls a quote, asking, what if life is happening for us and not to us?
His mindset started to shift and he now saw this as a gift. A gift of a second chance at life, for him to live a better life and help as many people get what they want by sharing what he has learned in his two passions, personal development and business success.
He decided to come up with a plan to exit the corporate world and do something he had thought about for many years, become a professional coach. So he hired a coach to help him create a plan and start his new journey.

After 35 years in leadership roles and coaching in the retail and corporate envrionment, he created his own coaching business.
He has experienced many challenges both personally and professionally, though overcome them by relying on his mindset and learnings to look for the opportunities in every situation.
His goal is to help leaders gain the habits and skills needed to grow and experience success.
Carlos has already made an impact in just a few years, helping many leaders realize growth in their business.
